We have many rope access technicians come through our company from all walks of life. The amazing thing that I have experienced is that for me, there is no way of telling "What sort of person would work at those type of heights?" A 23 year old surfer from North Shore, a 22 year old female surveyor from the UK or a 50 year old motor mechanic.

Some people just love the heights. It does take a certain type, but there really is no way of telling who will be successful as a technician in this field.
